For my Design Services class I was able to work with real life clients and I was given the opportunity to design a logo for the L.D. Britt Premedical Scholars Program. Dr.Ricks-Santi gave me the task of designing a logo for their program that uses L.D. Britt likeness and also follows ODU’s design system. Dr.Ricks-Santi wanted a logo that could also be used for website usage as well as a logo to put on their scrubs.
L.D. Britt Statue first draft
For my first attempt at the logo I wanted to capture Dr. Britt’s statue in it entirety, but I felt it was too detailed and once it becomes scaled down the details will get lost.
